POLICING IN AMERICA
The document linked is the second policy brief paper that I wrote in my Public Leaders and Active Citizens course, as part of the Public Leadership curriculum. The topic of the paper was policing in America and possible reforms to improve the police system. I chose to highlight this essay because the topic is not only a current issue, but also something that I feel strongly about. I wanted to share my perspective about the one of the many issues facing the United States, while also providing a strong example of my writing ability.

I chose to highlight this reflection because it takes place after an event that was impactful in my life and it shows how I grew from it and bettered myself as a person.
